This position serves as an Electrician located within the Facilities Department at the Clinton Indian Health Center. The purpose of this position is the operation and installation of a variety of electrical systems and equipment. The incumbent reports to the Facility Manager of the Clinton Service Unit.
Duties
Installs, modifies, repairs, and troubleshoots, loads and tests new and existing electrical systems.
Installs wiring, conduit, fixtures, transformers, and other electrical devices in the size and type, and arrangement needed for proper and safe operation of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
Plans and lays out the routing, placement, type, size gauge, balance, load, continuity and proper and sage operation of electrical lines, circuits, fittings, connections and controls.
Performs or assists in routine, urgent and emergency repairs and projects undertaken by the station or contract work, incumbent is subject to be called back to the clinic after normal duty hours in case of emergencies related to building, utilities, or equipment at the Service Unit as well as all other duties assigned.
Qualifications

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards

Selective Placement Factor: Applicant must possess a valid Journeyman's Electrician's license in a state. Provide a copy of your license with your application.
