This position serves as the Medical Staff Office coordinator, including the support of the Credentialing and Priveleging function of the office and the registration and tracking of all volunteer providers. Duties will include administrative, clerical, credentialing and priveleging functions. Coordinator acts with independence in the performance of duties and performs the duties without the direct attention of the supervisor.
Duties
Recordkeeping and Medical files Maintenance, mail, schedule meetings, Data-entry, typing correspondence, timekeeping.
Responsible for correspondence for Medical Staff; Coordination of all Medical Staff functions, including Credentialing.
Serve as central point for entering and ensuring complete routing of recruitments, assist in administrative work in support of recruitment process.
Analyze credentials and privileges for compliance, which includes but not limited to evaluating and verifying.
Manage the processing of special assignments.
Qualifications

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
GS-07: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least a GS-06 grade level
In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: making travel arrangements and preparing an itinerary, filing travel vouchers and supporting documents by using electronic travel programs, proofreading correspondence and reports using electronic programs or the various software to perform word processing, receiving and answering telephone inquires from various customers and agencies, maintaining calendars and arranging meetings and coordinating activities with outside entities.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
