You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will serve as a lead worker on project teams involved in the installation of complex systems new to the installation and on teams making major modifications to existing systems. You will perform duties concerned with installation, maintenance and repair of process controls for air conditioning systems and large complex high and low pressure boiler plants. You will trace and locate defects, determine the nature and extent of repairs required, select appropriate tools, testing devices and work sequence. You will evaluate the impact that electronically controlled industrial equipment repairs and adjustments will have on related integral devices. You will determine the effects that alterations will have on a total system to verify added equipment will function correctly.
