About the Position: Serve as an Environmental Program Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, MIlitary Integration Division.

Duties
Provide oversight and management for all activities related to all types of Environmental and Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) work under DoD Restoration Programs.
May serve as the program manager for HTRW programs including Installation Restoration Program (IRP), the Base Realignment and Closure-Environmental Restoration (BRAC-ER) Program, and Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP).
Provide staff expertise to the districts through the life cycle of all types of DoD and Non-DOD Environmental projects.
Review DoD and Non-DoD Environmental work plans throughout during the year to ensure project assignments are correct and districts have capacity/capability
Maintain a general overview of the program and is cognizant of all project planning, design, scheduling, funding and construction activities.

Specialized Experience: )ne year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes providing oversight and management for activities related to all types of Environmental and Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) work under DoD Restoration Programs such as Superfund, FUDS, BRAC, FUSRAP and RCRA program; such as Superfund, FUDS, BRAC, FUSRAP and RCRA program; coordinating all aspects of the life cycle of environmental projects; and managing information in data management systems for environmental program metrics.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
