About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is a diverse city nestled between Seattle and the state capital of Olympia. Duties

Receives and removed exchange cards from automated transport systems (ATS). Adjust supply stock levels as requested by wards or clinics. Load and unload boxes, supplies and material from trucks, carts, etc. Deliver material within medical treatment facility utilizing hand carts and pallet jacks. Assit in performing cyclic and special inventories.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 70 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
• This position is Inclement Weather Essential. This means that you must be willing to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
• This position is mission essential. Should the command shut down the installation, this position be required to still report to work
• May be required to work rotating shifts to incliude weekends and holidays
• May be required to push wheel carts (weighing 300lbs empty) on level or slightly sloped areas, which require moderate physical effort.
