You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Materials Management Department of NMRTC ANNAPOLIS MD.

Duties

You will be responsible for the life cycle management of Minor, Pilferable, and Class III Plant Property at NHC and the BHCs. You will review requests and justification for new and replacement equipment for compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Navy and local regulations. You will coordinate the planning, programming, and execution of the Investment Equipment Program and serve the command's technical advisor for all equipment acquisitions. You will collect, analyze, interpret, and develop specific information about equipment of assigned equipment systems, or several subsystems.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing management information systems, office automation systems and processes, computer applications, principles and techniques. Experience utilizing a wide range of medical equipment, safety concepts, principles and practices. Experience analyzing and developing recommendations for improvement in program operations and objectives. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
