The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact for all administrative support programs, to serve as liaison with personnel flights/offices on personnel issues, and to assist in oversight of organization manpower resource requirements.
Duties
Assists in the management of administrative support program functions.
Resident subject matter expert for assigned mandated administrative support programs.
Organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel offices on personnel issues.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the organization.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include knowledge of extensive procedures and operations requiring extensive training. Employee receives general guidance on overall resources and objectives. Skilled in applying knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodology of administrative occupation and/ or technical methods. Effectively communicates, verbally and in writing, as needed to coordinate work and keep chain-of-command, coworkers and customers informed of work-related issues, developments and statuses.

EDUCATION: I have successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your official transcripts with your application package

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: I have successfully completed 60+ semester hours of education above high-school level and therefore meet the basic requirements as described in the vacancy announcement with a combination of my education and experience. NOTE: percentages of education requirements and specialized experience requirements must add up to a minimum of 100% to meet the basic qualification requirements. AND you must submit a copy of your official transcripts with your application package.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
Knowledge of structure, programs, and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
