About the Position: This Program Manager (Surety and Security) is located at Dugway Proving Ground, Office of the Commander Security and Surety Division with duty location of Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. Duties

Serve as the primary advisor to the Army Test and Evaluation Commander/staff on items such as security, surety matters, chemical surety, antiterrorism, weapons of mass destruction, and intelligence. Develop strategic planning based on national level guidance to prepare information to respond to national policy in support of the Dugway Proving Ground mission. Establish oversight of the Antiterrorism and Force Protection program command-wide encompassing the chemical test facility. Represent Dugway at conferences with authority to make binding commitments on issues relating to areas such as intelligence analysis, production and collection.

Requirements

  • Position requires access to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). Employee must be able to obtain and maintain eligibility to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented (TS/SCI) Information.
  • The applicant must also be able to obtain and maintain eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on adjudicative standards set forth in the intelligence community policy 704 series for continued employment.
  • The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Overnight travel away from the duty station of up to 25% may be required.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
  • In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
