About the Position: This position is located at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington in the Warrior Transition Battalion.
Duties
Provide information regarding voluntary services available to individuals involved in cases that do not meet reporting criteria.
Facilitate initial report of incidents of abuse, neglect and/or sexual abuse involving children or adults by referring to appropriate sources and/or agencies.v
Gather and share collateral information obtained during the initial stages of case development.
Assist Social Workers with identification of high-risk factors identified during intake process.
Collaborate with Social Workers to develop treatment plans.

- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes facilitate or co-facilitate psychoeducational groups for patients and/or families; conduct biopsychosocial evaluations and perform risk assessments, in a behavioral health clinic or similar environment.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08).
