This is a NAF position with the 17th Force Support Squadron, located at the Arts & Crafts Center on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. This position is considered Regular Part-Time (RPT). You are guaranteed 20 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours/week. You may be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual/sick leave and sign up for benefits, to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401k and NAF Retirement.

Duties

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience that demonstrates the familiarity with routines and procedures followed in group activities and programs or in a similar business operation setting. In addition, responsible experience in a recreation program activity that has involved recreation work in the area of skills development. Must have demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Must have computer skills, including administrative/office and graphics features. Works an uncommon tour of duty that includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing involved, as well as working around industrial equipment, such as kilns and vehicle lifts. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Subject to satisfactory completion of a Tier-I background investigation.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
