About the Position: Serves as a human resources (HR) assistant and assist in program management in the Military Personnel Branch, Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC), as well as at outlying clinics. This position is located in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Operate automated personnel databases such as Electronic Military Personnel Office (eMILPO) and/or Enlisted Distribution Assignment System (EDAS), in continuous preparation for the quarterly records inspections.
Provide reports on various subjects (e.g., gains/losses, Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), officer rating scheme, evaluation suspense rosters) on a monthly basis.
Review a wide variety of military personnel support actions utilizing military Human Resources rules, procedures, and operations to ensure documentation and records are correct and accurate.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- Incumbent must be a qualified typist.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) operating automated and/or web based personnel databases; 2) reviewing standardized documents for completeness and correctness; and 3) create and/or maintain military personnel records and files. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
