Located in the Tennessee State Office, this position serves as an analyst in the state office providing oversight and coordination of a full range of administrative and business management functions in support of the State's mission.
This is not a remote position.
Duties
Collects information in support of State's program and administrative functions.
Collaborates with District Directors, Administrative Officer and Managers to ensure programs and goals are met.
Analyzes State's programs to determine strength and weaknesses.
Develops annual plan of work, events and meetings to ensure State's resources and work is being effectively used.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
Time in grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
Experience in analysis of program procedures to evaluate effectiveness and recommend corrective action and/ or improvement; Draft new regulations and procedures to meet legislative and administrative changes in the programs; Coordinates with various programs staff in developing automated systems, regulations and procedures which affect programs and implementing those systems; Design and conduct studies in support of policy and procedural recommendations and/ or changes related to annual goals and long-range plans. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-12 grade.
