Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-G level, applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-5-9 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.To qualify for this position at the FV-H level, applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-10-11 in Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-12 in Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience using computer-based database programs to plan, schedule and conduct studies and analyses of management functions or programs. Experience performing duties with responsibility for effective operation and maintenance of technical programs, (i.e. Training, QC, Planning and requirements, and Airspace and procedures), project, policies and procedures. Experience planning, developing, monitoring and executing actions required to manage technical programs.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. Education

Applicants can qualify based on substituting education for experience.

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: For the FV-G Band, three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree in an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

There is no education substitution for the H or I Pay Band Levels.
