This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin, Office of Investigation. As a Secretary (OA), you will be providing a variety of administrative support services to the division's area of responsibility.

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-8. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-06 you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Providing assistance to resolve administrative problems Examples of this experience may include: - Answering phone calls; OR - Performing quality reviews of documents; OR - Maintaining a supervisor's meetings. For the GS-07 you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Providing assistance and resolving administrative problems. Examples of this experience may include: - Answering phone calls and forwarding to the appropriate staff; OR - Performing quality review and making corrections of documents; OR - Maintain and adjust a supervisor's meetings as need; OR - Ensuring the accuracy of data in reports. For the GS-08 you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Resolving administrative problems. Examples of this experience may include: - Answering phone calls and forwarding to the appropriate staff; OR - Performing quality review and making corrections of documents; OR - Maintain and adjust a supervisor's meetings as need; OR - Ensuring the accuracy of data in reports, identifying and correcting errors.
