About the Position: Join Team Soldier! As a Logistics Management Specialist in Program Executive Office Soldier, the incumbent of this position will help Team Soldier save Soldiers' lives, improve their quality of life, and increase their combat effectiveness. Duties
Develops, establishes, implements, and maintains plans, schedules, controls, charts, instructions, and procedures related to the Integrated Product Support (IPS) aspects of assigned items/systems throughout the life cycle
Maintains liaison with personnel of other agencies; i.e., Training and doctrine (TRADOC), Material Readiness support activity, Logistics Evaluation Agency, proponent schools, and other commands having systems related responsibilities.
Supports the development of acquisition strategies, test and evaluation management plans, system engineering plans, purchase description, new material release documents, material fielding plans, and transition plans to insure timely fielding and transition during development/production/deployment stage.

- This position may require up to 25% TDY
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.

- This position may require a One-year probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience is defined as having one year at the next lower grade level or equivalent pay band level performing the following duties;
1) Planning the development of product support strategies for defense weapon systems using the integrated product support process/elements;
2) Developing logistics documents such as life cycle sustainment plans; AND
3) Utilizing acquisition and logistics policies to develop life cycle funding that meet budget requirements of assigned defense weapon systems.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
