You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Conversion and Repair of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Duties
You will serve as the Physical Security (PS), Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (AT and FP) and Operations Security (OPSEC) Officer.
You will implement policy and guidance consistent with OPNAVINST F3300.53 to include planning, programming and budgeting for projects and programs.
You will develop a physical security/force protection plan.
You will coordinate with local and state law enforcement agencies, FBI, NCIS, and the Department of Homeland Security to identify threats to government and contractor facilities and personnel.
You will participate in the SUPSHIP Bath Force Protection Working Group and OPSEC Working Group.
You will plan, coordinate and conduct ATFP missions for all ships movements and christenings with local, state and federal law enforcement and military agencies.
You will develop and implement the foreign travel anti-terrorism education program, to include local threat, terrorist threat awareness, personal protection and travel security.
You will ensure personnel ordered to a DoD designated High Physical Threat or Potential Physical Threat Country for temporary duty receives terrorist awareness and travel security briefings prior to departure.
You will evaluate threats through analysis of counter intelligence products and contracts, and recommend defensive posture to counter those threats.
You will review contractor plant protection plans for contractual compliance.
You will conduct physical surveys to ensure contractor security force is in compliance with their plan.
You will conduct annual physical security surveys of SUPSHIP Bath (SSBA), SSBA detachments and remote sites, and contractually linked shipyards.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band/grade, NH-02 (GS-11), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector implementing guidance, gathering information, or providing training to employees and contractors for the safety of employees and government assets.
