Multiple vacancies may be filled from this announcement About the Position: Inventory Management Specialist (Supply Planner) located within AMCOM Logistics Center Supply Chain Management Directorate.

Duties

Provide technical leadership and direction in all aspects of supply management. Conduct special recurring and nonrecurring requirement studies to reflect DA assets versus requirements. Participate in planning the detailed guidance necessary to develop and accomplish assigned plans and programs. Participate in planning work accomplishment in assigned area. Validate supply forecasts, manages excess inventory and consumption plans, evaluates target stock and safety levels, conducts backorder reviews, identifies and manages get well plans and optimizes the reverse pipeline to support repair plans. Plan, develop, implement, and manage effective and affordable product supply support strategies throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems, as addressed in applicable policy/regulatory guidance.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires occasional temporary travel.
• Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must meet all requirements for Data Analytics Level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
• Must meet position requirements for Foundational Certification in Life Cycle Logistics within 3 years of entrance on duty.
