Duties
Analyzes performance data and determines the frequency needed to determine if performance goals/initiatives are met.
Reviews contracts and other technical data to identify requirements in support of Production, Planning, and Control ensuring resources are aligned based on requirements.
Utilizes various strategies to communicate Contract Management Office performance, engagement strategies, and customer information.
Works with Human Capital Directorate ensuring team members are assigned to the correct Position Description.
Provides technical interpretation of new and revised regulations, policies, and other releases.

- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Quality Assurance Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Designing, planning, and implementing a risk management program for aircraft parts and/or structures.
Verifying accuracy of data and analyzing reports to track progress of projects.
Identifying areas of deficiency or non-compliance and recommending corrective action.
Utilizing share point, accessing database/dashboards, excel spreadsheets and creating PowerPoint briefs with the ability to train other Quality Specialists.
Briefing Senior Management on data analysis and risk management concepts.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
