Duties
Serves as a Commissary Contractor Monitor in a commissary store at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) facility. The primary purpose of this position is conduct quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary stocking, order-writing, custodial, receiving, holding and/or other contracted services performed in a commissary.
Position responsibilities include:
Conducts quality assurance inspections and contractor surveillance.
Provides comments and recommendations for additions, deletions, or changes to contractor services to ensure compliance with DeCA directives.
Approves or rejects contractor's work schedule and checks work for quality and timeliness.
Maintains the store's space allocations program by such duties as designating to the contractor proper item shelf locations when shelf tags are missing or otherwise not identifiable.
Advises commissary or contracted order writers.
Acts as the commissary manager's representative during the night time hours to ensure government property is secure.

Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume and supporting documents must show that you meet the qualifications for the grade level or levels for which you are applying. Your resume and supporting documents must show that you possess (A) 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-5 level, OR (B) 4 full years of successfully completed education above high school that was completed in an accredited business, secretarial, technical school, junior college, college or university, OR (C) a combination of experience and education that equals 100% of the qualification requirements. To compute the percentage of experience and education you have that meets the qualification requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours by 60. Add the two percentages.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience:
Conducting quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of specified commissary or retail grocery contracted services.
Applying retail grocery store administration policies and procedures as they relate to established contracts.
Monitoring vendors and/or contractors in a retail setting to ensure proper invent.
