This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. Positions in the Cyber Excepted Service are positions necessary to carry out and support the mission of the United States Cyber Command. It is in the Supervisory/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level 3 within the CES Occupational Structure located in the JFHQ - DODIN.

Duties

Develops and maintains integrated information requirements, policies, procedures, plans, and programs to support the JFHQ-DODIN cyberspace exercise program, ensuring alignment with USCYBERCOM's strategic objectives and DOD's joint training policies. Oversees the development and execution of the division's budget to support exercise program requirements, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial management regulations. Manages the activities of Joint Exercise Control Groups (JECGs), providing technical direction, guidance, and oversight. As a supervisor, develops, plans, schedules, set priorities, and determines individual assignments for subordinates. Develops, plans, schedules, and sets priorities for the division's activities, ensuring the effective utilization of personnel and resources to meet the command's exercise objectives. Represents JFHQ-DODIN in joint and interagency forums related to joint exercises, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring the command's interests and requirements are effectively communicated and addressed.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below Basic Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate on their resume that they have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. -Attention to Detail -Customer Service -Oral Communication -Problem Solving Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in designing, planning, preparing, executing and evaluating, analyzing, and reporting for joint training events, overseeing and managing participants in joint exercise activities, presenting recommendations to senior leadership. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GG-14 grade level.
