Duties
Assist in developing training aids and conduct training presentations on drug testing.
Assist in developing presentations on drug testing subject matters.
Coordinate, monitor, and maintain the installation's urinalysis program, to include the testing of all military personnel, reservists, National Guard, and civilian personnel as identified in AR 600-85.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires certification by the DA DTC Certification Course within 9 months of assuming duties.
Qualifications
This position is a TERM position. It is a time limited position and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years total. This position may be converted to a permanent, career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
This is a Term position NOT TO EXCEED (NTE) 4 years years and may be extended up to a total of eight years. This position MAY be made permanent without further competition contingent upon verification of the incumbent's non-competitive eligibility (must be a 30% veteran, reinstatement eligible, etc., under competitive service).

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-6) such as : 1) collecting and handling of urine drug testing specimens; 2) storing of chemicals IAW environmental requirements; 3) maintaining an automated information/reporting system;
3) preparing statistical reports.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
