About the Position: Serves as Supply Technician (CEEP) in assisting the Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP) Manger, for the Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) with the CEEP Program located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Assist the Capital Expense Equipment Program (CEEP) manager from initial stage of planning through site preparation and installation of equipment Assist in reviewing fund limitations to help determine priority of equipment actions. Research items to submit completed equipment requirements through proper offices for required approvals. Operate stand-alone computer with tailored software for input, editing, processing, and special reports.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent must successfully complete preemployment physical examination.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Incumbent is required to wear a safety belt when lifting supplies and equipment.

Performing periodic inventories using manual or scanner equipment to update hand receipt records. Experience with routine supply transactions and/or providing supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
