About the Position: .Serves as a Force Integration Logistic Management Specialist with primary staff responsibility for accomplishing the planning, coordination, resourcing, execution, and evaluation of New Equipment Fielding (NEF) and New Equipment Training (NET) of MTOE equipment and new material systems to the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) and Fort Carson.
Duties
Subject matter expert for new equipment fielding and training.
Serves as primary point of contact for all matters related to supply/ maintenance readiness.
Assists with developing logistical facilities utilization and distribution plans.
Provide oversight, management, and coordination of logistic integration of new equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires you to travel from the duty station up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience GS-11: I have one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Subject matter expert for all supply/maintenance matters; and 2) Serves as primary point of contact for all matters related to supply/maintenance readiness, and 3) Assist with developing logistical facilities utilization and distribution plans and 4) Provide oversight, management, and coordination of logistic integration of new equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
