About the Position: Jacksonville is the largest city in the state of Florida by population and the largest city by area in the continental United States. Duties

Applies a thorough and working knowledge of study and project management principles, and understanding of the Corps organizational structure and functions, business practices, procedures, techniques, regulations, and guidance. Uses existing P2 WBS templates, or develops new templates, to define products, sub products, activities, or tasks for the projects. Assists in identifying time periods of over-utilization of resources to enable application of resource leveling techniques. Interfaces with Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), and other systems, as applicable. Reviews project progress, measuring performance and recommending necessary corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost. Collects project execution data from the project manager and confirms the completeness and accuracy of the data and enters it into P2 Develops local reports and procedures to facilitate communication of scope schedule and budget status.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
