About the Position: Serves as a Supervisory Industrial Property Specialist providing direction and guidance over a group of Industrial Property Specialists, under the AMCOM Combined Logistics Command (ACLC), Materiel Management Division, Property Management Branch.
This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 encompasses grades 12 and 13 on the General Schedule.
This is a Term NTE 13 months position. May be made permanent without further competition.
Duties
Identifies problems, develops solutions, and implements changes.
Establishes and maintains liaison relative to assigned area with higher authority, customers, and Command staff and operating elements.
Responsible for understanding and actively supporting the Command's Affirmative Action/EEO Program, ensuring EEO principles are reflected in all aspects of personnel management.
Exercises full authority as a member of the pay pool management in assessing contribution and preparing statements of duties and experience for Demonstration employees.
Identifies developmental and training needs of employees.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- This is a Term position scheduled to last 13 months but may be extended up to six years.
- This is an obligated position.
- The duties of this position may require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Interpreting property management policies, regulations, methods and/or contract provisions; 2) Participating in property administration and management systems analysis; and 3) Assisting with investigations of lost or damages government property.
This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-02/GS-11) position in the federal service.
