Duties
Monitors and performs mechanical maintenance, including application of mechanical theory for a hydro-electric power plant with a generating capacity up to 200 megawatts.
Operates cranes, hoists, industrial tractors, incidental to lifting, moving, dismantling, assembling, overhauling, or repairing of plant machinery and related equipment.
Dismantles, reconstructs, repairs, tests, and performs preventive maintenance on turbines, generators, motors, pumps, educators, valves, pipes, penstocks, intakes, spillways, outlet works, domestic water systems, sewage systems, hydraulic systems, etc.
Operates high voltage switches and related devices to implement the switching program set up by the operations supervisor.
Interpretation and application of drawings, standard operating procedures, and manufacturer's instructions.
