You will serve as a TOOLS AND PARTS ATTENDANT in the MRO-LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will issue/return/maintain tools, consumables, PPE, and HAZMAT.
You will determine rotation of tools and HAZMAT in consideration of shelf life, age, and date
You will monitor junior tools and parts employees to ensure they follow safety, fire, Tool Control, Hazmat, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
You will maintain accurate tooling, consumable, and HAZMAT inventories.
You will be responsible for oversite of a toolroom/HAZMAT room with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Organizing tools/equipment and storing hazardous materials in accordance with instructions; 2) Assisting with the completion of assigned team projects, such as inventories or product evaluations; and 3) Reporting work in progress and any causes for delay to Supervisor.
