This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent House Office Buildings, Assistant Superintendent Tenant Services Division, Carpentry Branch. The incumbent performs standard and nonstandard carpentry work/projects requiring extensive adaptation methods in support of the House Office Buildings (HOB).  

Duties

This position is emergency essential - Depending on the type of emergency the employee may be required to report to work during emergency situations.

Requirements

  • You must be able to pass a drug test.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Performs journey-level, commercial Wood Crafting, millwork and Carpentry techniques to construct and repair complex, unique and one-of-a-kind high grade wooden items. Your application must show that you have sufficient training and/or experience to perform the duties of the position as described in the vacancy announcement.
