This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Serve as Maintenance Control Technician for the Recreation and Natural Resources Branch, provides support for the operation and maintenance of major land plant, floating plant, and navigation facilities.
Utilize an automated maintenance control data system, such as FEM/MAXIMO, to provide system control, analysis, data entry, and documentation of current and future maintenance operations for assigned navigation and flood control structures.
Serve as Project POC for FEM/MAXIMO equipment transfers.
Serve as technical advisor to the OMs, Supervisors, and personnel on functions and data contained in the automated maintenance system, and administering the work order system that schedules and controls the activities of maintenance crews
Requirements

Experience Required:
GS-07
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes meeting one of the following: 1) Utilize multiple components of complex maintenance control systems and/or the ability to analyze and effect system procedures; 2) manage a variety of recurring maintenance, repair, and/or replacement activities on complex equipment and machinery; AND 3) Maintain various records for each job to include piece of equipment, man hour labor charges, appropriate codes, etc. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
