Duties
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting schedules and priorities, developing performance standards, evaluating work performance, hearing and resolving complaints and providing guidance to employees.
You will develop plans, designs and conduct test and analysis of complex physical, dimensional and optical TMDE and calibration systems and/or material related to operational capabilities, performance, and design deficiencies.
You will develop and design calibration, maintenance, production and testing methods and procedures for physical, optical, and dimensional TMDE and calibration systems including weapon systems, assemblies, repair and rebuild processes.
You will manage the evaluation, analysis, minor repair and calibration of standard TMDE instruments.
You will perform random and schedules Quality Verification Inspections of in-process and completed and TMDE repair and/or calibration which is being performed.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You may be required to work overtime on an emergency basis.
- You may be required to be recalled to duty.

- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing engineering technician services to analyze technical problems arising during the design, construction, inspection, testing, maintenance or overhaul of equipment (i.e., Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)), weapon systems and components.
