About the position: This position will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, Club XL, located at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, Texas. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits. ???????Position requires frequent light to moderate lifting and carrying objects, pushing, pulling, and bending.

Duties

The purpose of this position is to mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a limited service bar in a training capacity. Prepares a limited variety of alcoholic drinks by selecting proper premix and garnish. Serves beer, soda and wine. Serves patrons directly or delivers to waiter. Receives payment, operates cash register, and makes and returns change to patrons or waiter. Sets up bar for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains work area neat and clean. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. Stocks service bars and assists higher-level bartender as required. May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability. Incumbent can be non-competitively promoted to the full performance level of NA-05 provided they have satisfactorily completed required training, demonstration of job skills necessary to perform at the NA-05 level and recommendation of the supervisor. Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
  • Applicant must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement.

Qualifying Experience: No previous training or experience is required. Ability to learn to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and ability to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed. Education
