This position is located at the Fort Moore Golf Course which is a part of Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Business Recreation Division. This is a FLEXIBLE position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Duties

Performs repair work on a variety of equipment including gas powered rental golf cars, gang mowers, green mowers and other mechanical equipment utilized in the daily operation and maintenance of a golf course. Performs minor engine repairs by cleaning, adjusting, and/or replacing defective parts, of components and systems including wheel cylinders, mufflers, brake shoes, carburetors, etc. Performs minor electric or gas welding tasks as required and performs service on small engines, both gasoline and diesel powered. Keeps accurate record of all preventative and routine maintenance and repair work accomplished. Establishes and maintains part accountability records. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must be willing and able to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Must be able to complete such entries as issue and turn-in dates, item names and stock or part numbers onissue, and turn-in forms.
