This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - ACQ/ACQUISITION (ACQ).
Duties
Provide daily updates to the Director for the purpose of setting priorities and managing the Director’s time and workload for information purposes.
Provide evaluation of submitted products, advice and assistance to personnel at all grade levels on the proper methods, procedures, policy, and organization of briefing preparation.
Ensures that the Director has access to external facilities he/she is required to visit. Coordinate distribution of information or materials with external entities; coordinate meeting/seminar/conference logistics with educational contacts.
Attend meetings, research data and provide assistance to the Director and Deputies for the purpose of allowing for the most up to date information sharing.
Ensure that the Director is kept up to date on all elements of administrative changes affecting the senior and executive staff for Directorate.
Work closely with the Secretary to ensure that all calendar engagements are posted accurately and in a timely fashion.
Ensure that the Director and Deputies are provided the appropriate amount of time for travel to offsite meetings and that the appropriate transportation is made available.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks which may include using discretion when handling highly sensitive information, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and preparing minutes from meetings.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience with communication practices to oversee briefings and manage Directorate communications, project management techniques to meet changing program requirements, knowledge of planning, organizing, directing employees and office staff as well as providing guidance to administrative procedures.

Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experienceat the GG-12 grade level.
