The positions are located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL Regions of the FDIC and serves as a resource in areas specific to Trust and Securities-related examinations.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here.
For CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience performing examinations of insured depository institutions, serving as Examiner in Charge and evaluating the safety, soundness, and risk posed to the insurance fund.
For CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience conducting and/or serving as Examiner-in-Charge of complex and/or sensitive examinations, investigations, or other activities relating to trust and securities activity, supervision and enforcement responsibilities.
Candidates must be a Commissioned Risk Examiner in the FDIC or another organization with comparable commissioning criteria used by the FDIC's Division of Risk Management Supervision.
