About the Position: This position is being filled on a permanent basis. This position is being filled at the GS-7, GS-9, or GS-11 grade levels. If selected at a lower grade level, you may be promoted to the full performance, GS-11, grade level without further competition.

Duties

Assists in performance of program planning and analysis work for the AWCF Revolving Fund. Maintains responsibility for interpretation of budget policies and guidance and development and dissemination of implementing instructions, analysis, and activation of operating program proposals. Analyzing, recommending, and reporting courses of action and alternatives for an execution year. Develops, presents cost-based budget for a current fiscal year, a target fiscal year, and a budget fiscal year. Analyzes the direct and indirect budgeted labor rates for accuracy. Assists in the approval process of the IOBs. Enters prepared IOB data into mainframe for mechanization process of budget. Maintains appropriation data base of all ex-order activity by Army Management Structure (AMS), cost center, and end item. Data base will include orders received, cost and overhead activity monthly.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires completion of the Financial Management Certification Level 2 within 24 months from date of hire.
  • This position requires successful completion of pre-placement and annual medical examinations.
