Duties

Assists the Faculty Manager In the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service Is satisfactory: provides Information and general Instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assists In setting up for Instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; trades maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to Include a Tier 1 background Investigation.
• Must obtain MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service certificate within 6 months of employment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must possess a driver's license.
• A physical exam maybe required.

Qualifications

Possesses related work experience that Includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as Indicated above. Highly Qualified: Highly Qualified applicants will have experience in Sports, Recreation or Parks Field. Do you have experience in Sports, Recreation or Parks Field?
