About the Position: This position serves as the Quality Management Officer as a component of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The incumbent is responsible for the direction and oversight of all aspects of the Quality Management Program throughout the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and associated locations. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Understand clinical practices, procedures, and standards. Analyze data in a comprehensive manner to monitor activities with a systematic tracking method. Derive management reports from an automated database. Ability to direct teams and to negotiate effectively with management. Responsible for providing professional development guidance for subordinates.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent is required to be screened for applicable immunizations and subject to missing/required immunizations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Develop plans and programs in support of the Quality Management Department; Initiate revisions in existing documents to ensure integration of the improvement of functions in accordance with standards and requirements; Serve as the point of contact for the command on related issues and correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12)
