This position is located with the Tennessee State Office. The selectee will provide substantiative administrative assistance and support to the state.
This is not a remote position.
Duties
Performs general office clerical and assistance functions.
Maintains organization charts and records and updates.
Prepares and maintains records of requests for personnel action and personnel action status.
Supports the records and information management requirements of the organization.
Maintains office supplies.
Maintains records of office equipment inventory.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Skills in planning and managing the office's daily administrative functions, maintaining automated systems to record, reconcile, validate, and track data; gathering and compiling available data and information for aspects of a program and reports findings to a higher level employee; monitoring and reviewing established administrative procedures and program operations and assisting in the preparation of memoranda, reports and charts; using word processing, spreadsheet and database software to prepare documents and to enter, revise, manipulate, sort, calculate, store and retrieve data. OR 4 full years of education above high school. OR Equivalent combination of education and experience equaling 100% of the required specialized experience.
