You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Production Support Logistics Division (Code 33110) in the Industrial Logistics Department (Code 33000), within the Maintenance Repair Overhaul Logistics Group (Code 30000), Fleet Readiness Center (FRC), Southwest, San Diego, CA of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures. You will coordinate technical and product data for the functions of sustainment. You will explain program technical matters on enterprise product life-cycle management support. You will collaborate with decision makers to identify logistic support requirements.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researches and/or coordinates with engineering and Integrated Product Teams (IPT) representatives to resolve material and logistics issues within the weapon system platform being supported to meet production requirements; 2) Defines problems and develops solutions for issues to be addressed in logistics support plans; 3)Provides planning rationale and alternatives to IPT representatives and Fleet Support Team (FST) stakeholders; 4) Works with production and engineering to update/correct technical data, such as LSA, Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals (IETMs), and technical publications. Education

In Lieu of specialized experience an applicant may qualify based on the following education:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
