About the Position: Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist within the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) G-4. Provide logistics-related advice and the responsibility to direct, develop, implement, or function as part of a logistics management operation in support of logistics initiatives sites at Fort Novosel, AL, Fort Eustis, VA, and Fort Huachuca, AZ. Point of contact to the day-to-day operations, maintenance, repair and construction of buildings, grounds, and structures.

Duties

Serve as a specialist for assignments relating to the integration of all aspects of logistics management functions. Plan, coordinate, and direct a comprehensive facility management/environmental service program to provide an optimum level of service. Coordinate logistical functions externally with other agencies and within Brigades to ensure logistics operations are in compliance with USAACE and TRADOC policy and funding is available. Compose Brigade procedures for logistics functions. Determine the total budgetary requirements to support the assigned facilities/environmental services operations, maintenance, and repair plans.

• This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.

AND 4) Provide technical advisory service for the proper modification of aircraft equipment.
