This position is located within the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Services Division.

Duties
Serves as management and program analyst providing subject matter expertise and recommendations to senior staff, management, and command.
Applies extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, and practices in the effective planning, execution, and review of initiatives and programs.
Assists in analyzing mission, organization, work processes, methods, and procedures to identify best practices and recommend improvement in accordance with mission requirements and organizational structure.
Develops reports, summaries, policies, procedures, and other correspondence to track performance, budget, and standardization requirements and/or submissions.
Develops and maintains appropriate spreadsheets and/or databases for management information. Monitors the budget execution and validates ongoing budget requirements.
Prepares and presents periodic review and analysis briefings. Evaluates specific operations areas and/or performs site assistance visits. Provides training to management and/or operational staff and represent the organization in meetings/conferences.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors to assist with MWR events.
- Business operations are Monday-Friday but is subject to change and will be based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays are required during MWR events.
Qualifications
Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
One-year specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for specialized experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
Knowledge of principles, concepts, and methodologies required to perform various analytical techniques. Ability to analyze operations and financial data and to prepare reports and replies to inquiries. Knowledge of basic business financial and operating reports.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability with standard office software programs such as databases, spreadsheets, word processors, graphics, etc.
Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit).
One year experience with Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) policy, regulations, and/or finance.
Work experience and knowledge of principles, methods and techniques of financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to interpret quantitative and qualitative data to include data modeling, value management, and evaluating key financial indicators, trends, and historical data.
Experience in utilizing statistical data to evaluate a process and make recommendations for organization programs; consolidating data to present final briefing and analyze new concepts/techniques to determine organization compliance.
Possess a degree in business administration, financial management or related field.
Possess experience utilizing Power BI, Azure, Tableau or similar data analytic related software.
