You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Department, Maritime Outfitting Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will perform material coordination duties across commodities and platforms.
You will analyze the requisition process to determine alternatives, to develop or modify local purchase procedures to provide adequate controls for work processes, and improve requisition processing.
You will determine actions required to meet assigned support goals.
You will maintain and use a Government Purchase Card to procure Navy Outfitting requirements.
You will analyze and validate computer generated reports, analysis, and output.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
GS 5: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes the following: 1) Utilizing Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook), ERP, and other supply related systems; 2) Managing requirements for timely fulfillment and supply systems material; 3) Assisting in basic technical support for identification of requirements, determining sourcing, and initiating procurement; 4) Providing customer service by taking action on status inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating clearly with customers and suppliers.
GS 7: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes the following:
1) Utilizing Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook), ERP, and other supply related systems; 2) Providing guidance and direction regarding processing and procurement policy; 3) Managing requirements for timely fulfillment, expediting supply system materials, coordinating actions with other personnel and supply activities involved, providing basic technical support for identification of requirements, determining sourcing, and initiating procurements through credit card or other methods; 4) Providing customer service by taking action on status inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating clearly with customers and suppliers.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-05:
I have successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
OR
I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
GS 7:
I have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education.
OR
I have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.

I have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
