This position is located at Fort Bliss, Texas. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Duties

Cleans and sanitizes large child care facilities to hospital grade standards on a daily basis. This includes, but not limited to sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, dusting, windows, and trash, removal. Weekly and as needed, shampoos carpets, cleans walls and light fixtures, and dusts "nick knacks". Responsible for daily laundering and maintaining supplies throughout the facility. Responsible for excellent internal and external customer service. Requests supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/physical/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required (either initially or upon conversion, if applicable).
• Must be available to work evenings, nights and holidays as needed.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) Check.
• Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position.

Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing.
