This position is located at the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, within the Health, Safety and Work-Life Directorate (CG-11), Office of Health Services (CG-112) Health System Administration Division (CG-1122), Washington, DC.
Duties
As a Program Analyst the employee serves as the senior Health Data Analyst responsible for collecting data from multiple sources, managing/organizing data sets, identifying data patterns and trends, and transforming data into meaningful insights. They also advisemedical administration and clinical leadership on data strategy and opportunities to leverage data to meet Coast Guard health program needs.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
GS-13- You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience. Applicant must meet the conditions below. Resume must demonstrate that you meet the specialized experience below:
Conducting analysis of operational requirements to meet facilities’ needs; OR
Modifying data and managing databases to improve techniques; OR
Developing and delivering detailed internal briefings to various audiences; OR
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
