You will serve as a Production Controller (Missiles) in the Production Missiles Division of NMC CWD DET SEAL BEACH.

Duties
You will plan, coordinate, control the assembly, disassembly, renovation, or modification to the Standard Tomahawk, Evolved Sea Sparow Missiles and FMS along with Mk-41 Vertical Launch System components utilizing standard techniques and approaches.
You will plan and project the missile workload in consultation with the specific area planners.
You will analyze, interpret and present production, financial and statistical information to management.
You will provide monthly, quarterly and special financial reports.
You will use various automated systems to perform inventory/asset management, process material movement documents and create travelers for missile and miscellaneous sections and components.
You will maintain a direct liaison and functional communication with commodity managers, supervisors, production officers, and NAVSEA program managers to ensure timely delivery of products and customer satisfaction.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning and monitoring schedules and resources for missile production projects to analyze cost estimates and develop reports to ensure efficient and economic production operations.
For the GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing and analyzing schedules and reports for missile production projects to assist with project planning to ensure efficient and economic production operations.

Successful completion of two academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education
