You will serve as a REGIONAL COUNSELING, ADVOCACY, AND PREVENTION INTERDISCIPLINARY SUPERVISOR in the FLEET AND FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will plan the work to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare work completion schedule.
You will provide consultative services to subordinate employees including advice, counsel, or instructions on work and administrative matters, and promote work/life balance.
You will find ways to improve unit production or increase unit work quality.
You will provide clinical and technical consultation for difficult and/or complex cases.
You will collaborate with other military services and private sector entities to provide regional and Base level services, where appropriate.
You will develop written protocols that assign responsibilities and specify procedures for the clinical privileging and periodic review of providers.

- Incumbent of this position may be required to execute an annual Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (SF 450) per DOD 5500.7R. This is a non-critical sensitive position requiring access to IT II system and/or access to PII.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and managing clinical counseling programs to include requirement determination, policy development, evaluative and analytical processes, and program implementation; 2) Providing solution-focused family advocacy services, clinical counseling, and prevention and intervention skills; and 3) Designing and conducting comprehensive studies to measure and improve effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of assigned programs and prepare solutions to operational and contingency issues.
Incumbent will possess licensure/certification by a state or U.S. territory that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner in the fields of Licensed Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess:
Master's degree from a program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs or an equivalent degree OR
Master's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education or an equivalent degree OR
Master's degree in Social Work from a graduate school of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or an equivalent degree OR
Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an Americal Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school and a 1-year APA accredited clinical internship.
