Duties

This position is located in the Office of Field Operations, New York Field Division in Buffalo, New York. NOTE: Must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating a motor vehicle.

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for GS-1801-14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-13. This is a non-bargaining unit position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized Experience includes all of the following: Conduct complex, sensitive, or far-reaching investigations of firearms and explosives licensees/permittees; AND Coordinate with division, government, and law enforcement agencies; AND Manage or lead a team in law enforcement investigations; AND Write investigative reports and/or briefings.

Education

There is no substitution of education for experience at the grade level of this announcement.
