THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST TITLE 32 PERMANENT, Position Description Number D1595P01 and is part of the NH ARNG DCSIM, National Guard.
This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection.
Duties
Plans, programs, directs and coordinates the administrative functions of the state National Guard (NG). Provides overall technical and administrative direction to administrative support activities, including mail management/distribution, records management, reprographics, privacy and freedom of information acts, printing services management, publications management and supply, micrographics, administrative budget, military correspondence, forms management and field printing.

- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.

- Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

Qualifications
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership in the military grade/rank listed in the announcement. Military Grades: Enlisted E4 to E9; Warrant Officer WO1 to CW4; Officer 01 to 04

Compatible Military Assignment: 13, 25, 35, 36, 42, 51, 68 series, MOS Immaterial
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training in administrative, professional, technical, or other work that provided knowledge of support services. Knowledge of administrative methods and procedures used in planning and organizing work, and skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to obtain their cooperation or compliance with procedures, rules, or practices. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 - Must have 12 months of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-08). Must have experience, education, or training dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for support service functions required by type of position to be filled and the organization involved.
It is not necessary for applicants to possess the MOS/AFSC listed as compatible to the position in order to apply, however applicant must meet the qualifications for the position. It is applicant's responsibility to acquire a compatible MOS/AFSC within 1 year of appointment. Coordinate with your unit's training representative to determine whether or not you can qualify for a specific MOS/AFSC and/or receive training within the 1 year timeframe before accepting the position.
Education
Substitution of Education for specialized experience - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements. One full academic year of graduate-level education is creditable for GS-7; 2 years or a master's or equivalent graduate degree is creditable for GS-9; and 3 years or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is creditable for GS-11.
