You will serve as a Military Support Assistant (OA) in the AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD AEGIS TRAREDCEN.
Duties
You will enter information in a database for tracking (e.g. organization information, rosters, personnel locaters).
You will receive and review all incoming correspondence and prepare replies to general inquiries to meet command needs.
You will prepare charts, graphs, tables, and input on local mail operations for inclusion in organization and special briefings.
You will advise customers on routine information regarding travel procedures and entitlements.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing daily tasks utilizing personnel / pay systems and applicable instructions / references; 2) Utilizing an automated training database system; 3) Performing administrative support duties to support personnel for all personnel / pay matters. 4) Prioritizing and managing workload in order to meet deadlines. 5) Utilizing various database systems to retrieve, analyze, and report manpower information.
