You will serve as a INSPECTOR GENERAL of NSTC GREAT LAKES.
Duties
You will review, develop and monitor IG personnel and applicable managers' IG training requirements, qualifications and completion.
You will implement program administrative direction and policy.
You will screen and analyze incoming Hotline complaints for elements of fraud, waste and mismanagement, safety, environment concerns and ethics.
You will ensure timely and responsive management follow-up on all reports regarding audits, surveys or investigations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating and executing inspections, investigations, evaluations and/or onsite visits covering a wide spectrum of actions and programs; 2) Applying laws, executive orders, DoD regulations, administrative and legal procedures to analyze the nature of complaints and conduct investigations and inspections; 3) Analyzing data to identify systemic trends from Inspector General inspections and investigations; 4) Participating in or leading high level working groups dealing with Inspector General or other Investigative matters; 5) Conducting analysis of incoming complaints and requirements to determine proper course of action for investigation, referral, or closure.
